  • GIRL SCOUTS - GOLD AWARD PROJECTS
  • A.C.T.S. GROUPS
  • CHURCH YOUTH GROUPS
  • ADULT PARISH/CHURCH GROUPS
  • COMMUNITY HELP ORGANIZATIONS
  • INDIVIDUAL SERVANT MINISTERS

The variety and scope of servant ministry opportunities are practically endless at the CRC:

We invite you to browse the following list of ministry projects. Perhaps you will find something within your means, that is dear to your heart. We thank you for considering sharing the gifts God has given you, TIME - TALENT - TREASURE with the CRC.

  • "DECK THE HALLS" - On Saturday, December 3 starting at 8am. come join in the fun, as we will gather at Oblate Hall for a Christmas Decorating Party in preparation for the Breakfast with St. Nicholas/Christmas Market that we will sponsor on the following Saturday, Dec. 10.  Please bring any decorations you may not need, or purchase something just for the occasion.
  • "CHRISTMAS MARKET BOOTH" - If you would like to have your own booth at the Christmas Market mentioned above, follow this link, or call us at (281) 337-1312.
  • SIDEWALK EXPANSION JOINTS - This is a project that needs immediate attention, as it is a serious trip hazard.  If you have knowledge or expertise in this area, please contact Deacon Jim at (281) 337-1312, ext. 13.  We will be working on this task on upcoming Volunteer Service Days.
  • WATER FOUNTAINS IN THE POND - Having our pond spring to life with water fountains has been a vision of Deacon Jim's since 2008.   (this would make an excellent Eagle Scout, or Gold Award project for any interested Boy or Girl Scout)  Deacon Jim already has two water pumps and the donated services of a commercial Plumber to help get you started.
  • LAUNDRY EXPANSION - As the CRC continues to grow and accommodate more and more overnight guests, the burden on our Housekeeping Staff to continue providing clean facilities and fresh linens also continues to grow.  Our present laundry facility is not adequate to handle the increased load.  We are in need of a facility more than twice the size of the current one.
  • PATIO & BBQ PIT
  • PIC-NIC TABLES
  • CHILDREN'S PLAYGROUND
  • ENTRANCE BILLBOARD/LANDSCAPING -
  • MEDITATION TRAILS REFURBISH
  • OUTDOOR LIGHTING (MED. TRAILS)
  • LAWN SPRINKLING SYSTEM - Keeping our courtyard green and beautiful for you, our guests is becoming increasingly more difficult, (especially in recent drought conditions).
  • PARKING LOT REPLACEMENT
  • PRIMITIVE CAMPING GROUNDS
  • OUTDOOR WORSHIP AREA/MASS SITE
  • BELL TOWER FRESCOS -
  • PRAYER NOOK(S)
  • GATES (SWING ARM) - Do you have a knack for welding and working with metal?  This could be the perfect project for you!  (the CRC already has the welding machine, cutting rig and pipe for this job) click here to see a printable plan for these gates. (3 gates are needed)
  • STATIONS OF THE CROSS (MEDITATION TRAIL)  We would like to replace the "Stations of the Cross Plaques"  that were nearly all destroyed by Hurricane Ike in 2008.  (see the picture below of one that was left.)  You need not replicate the old ones.  Show us your creative ideas!
  • SWIMMING POOL AREA FACELIFT

Pitcures of our volunteers on past projects

Just one more cut! I'll get it right this time! .......is it break time yet?

What do you mean, wrong side? ...Can I let it go now?

I used to think "Ike" was a good name... I told you it wouldn't fit.

All happy to be here! Well, almost all.
